The International Congress of Environmental Health – ICEH 2019 – will be hosted by the Lisbon School of Health Technology, located in a prime area of the city: Parque das Nações.
With origins in the planning and realization of EXPO’98, which took place in Lisbon from May 22 to September 30, 1998, Parque das Nações benefited from the urban and environmental requalification of an area of 340 hectares, located next to the Tagus river. The modernization project has created unique residential areas, accessibility and transportation, equipment, services and infrastructures, which allow this area of the city to be affirmed in the holding of international projection events.
Located in a privileged area, which stretches for 5 km along the Tagus river, with green spaces that invite to the promenade and leisure, Parque das Nações is an intermodal transportation hub with frequent direct flights to major business centers around the world and international rail links.
